"A community’s physical form, rather than its land uses, is its most intrinsic and enduring characteristic." [Katz, EPA] This blog focuses on place and placemaking and all that makes it work--historic preservation, urban design, transportation, asset-based community development, arts & cultural development, commercial district revitalization, tourism & destination development, and quality of life advocacy--along with doses of civic engagement and good governance watchdogging.

Bicycle safety signs, comic by Brett Hamil
This was published in an August issue of Seattle's City Arts Magazine, which comes out monthly.
I wrote a piece called "Share The Road STINKS" which discusses why those yellow diamonds have absolutely no legal meaning - I proposed a "Bikes May Be In The Way" sign which I would happily add to your collection! :)
