Learning opportunities not too far outside of the borders of our fair city (Washington, DC)

1. The Preservation Maryland conference will be held May 18th and 19th in Annapolis. Check the website for the schedule and registration information.

2. The Anacostia Trails Heritage Area in Prince George's County is having a training on April 19th, in College Park. It could well be worth attending for "market research" purposes. Interesting, one of the sponsors is the Department of Anthropology at UMD-College Park. Cultural Conference Brochure.

3. The National Alliance of Preservation Commissions, which because of its name, people think is only for government boards, but isn't, is meeting in Baltimore, July 27 to 30.
