Presentation Thursday October 8th: Transportation Demand Management (TDM) in Arlington County
Recently, Arlington County Commuter Services released their annual report for 2008, Making an Impact Report, so it is fortuitous, that the Northern Virginia chapter of the American Planning Association and Arlington County Commuter Services have organized a public presentation on transportation demand management planning and practice in the County.

Mr. Chris Hamilton, the Bureau Chief of Arlington County Commuter Services, will provide an overview of the organizational structure that helps to implement the TDM program in Arlington, and the successes the team has achieved.
Mr. John Durham, TDM Planner with Arlington County, will discuss implementation of the TDM program including how site plan conditions are envisioned, written and negotiated, as well as monitoring and enforcement of these conditions.
