Detroit, Prince George's County...
Today is the primary election for the mayor's race in Detroit. This article from the Boston Globe, "Detroit's future in sharp focus for mayoral race: Vote seen as crucial to struggling city's renaissance effort," is a good summary of the issues. There is relevance to the PG County situation... even DC or Philadelphia.
