Using dog poop to fuel a park gaslight

Government Technology reports, in "Pet Poop Fueling City Park Light, Sparks Conversation," about how an MIT visual arts program graduate created a gaslight fueled by a methane digester using dog poop in one of Boston's public parks.

I do think about all the dog poop tossed in trash cans around the various parks in the city (especially around the Coolidge Recreation Center which is a couple blocks from where I live) and how it could be fertilizer or fuel.

(Suzanne confronted one of our neighbors who carries plastic bags when she walks her dogs, but doesn't use them when the dogs dump on people's yards including ours.)
