Economist Magazine Conference next week on Intelligent Infrastructure

I won't be able to make next week's conference, The Ideas Economy: Intelligent Infrastructure: The architecture of progress, next Wednesday and Thursday, February 16th-17th 2011, in New York City.

If readers are able to attend, it could well be worth your while.

The array of speakers is amazing, ranging from Jaime Lerner (who created bus rapid transit) and Susan Zielinski of the University of Michigan on mobility hubs, to Professor Saskia Sassen of Columbia University, Henry Cisneros, former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development now a financier and builder of affordable housing,

After the conference, The Economist will be posting videos and other documents from the event, and I will discuss the particularly interesting items, and post links.
