I hadn't thought of this additional benefit of the maps posted at bike sharing stations in DC, but it is one.

The maps at the bike sharing stations in London look to be incredible, from what little I've seen of them from photos posted on the web. (Someone needs to shoot photos of each of the four sides of the kiosk and post them...)

The Legible London wayfinding system appears to be pretty fantastic according to some of the amazing photos I've seen of aspects of the signage program, and the map portions of the "Barclays Cycle Hire" kiosks are integrated into the Legible London program.
