Inga Saffron, new book Becoming Philadelphia, author talk

Inga Saffron, the superlative architecture and urban design writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, who has been in the news of late because of her column "Buildings Matter Too," has just come out with a book, Becoming Philadelphia: How an Old American City Made Itself New Again.

It's a compendium of past columns ("Inga Saffron’s new book, ‘Becoming Philadelphia,’ collects her columns into a story of our city, renewing itself," PI)

The Free Library of Philadelphia is sponsoring a virtual author talk on Wednesday, June 17 at 7:30 p.m. People can register online.

Saffron received the Vincent Scully Award for excellence in architectural criticism, at the National Building Museum in 2018.
