DC area to observe Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims," about activities in DC around recognizing traffic deaths. According to the article there has been a display this week at Union Station, put up by
DC Families for Safe Streets (
blog entry).

DC Families for Safe Streets is an affiliate of another organization I didn't know about the national organization, Families for Safe Streets.
Sadly ironic that yesterday Waukesha Wisconsin had an SUV plow into a crowd at a parade, killing 5 and injuring 40.
