Washington DC: Past and Present

Peter Penczer's Washington D.C. Past and Present is a book of photographs that pairs historic photographs with newly taken photos of the location more recently (late 1990s). T. Luke Young and Paul Williams did a similar book: Washington, D.C. (Then and Now Series).

Here's one from me.

Here is an NR webpage about the adaptive reuse of the East Capitol Street Car Barn, which is used for housing.

And this photo is the Georgetown Trolley Car Barn today, which is used as a classroom and administrative building by Georgetown University.
