Program gives student artists first big break

Program gives artists 1st big break - 11-09-05.jpgVelvet S. McNeil / The Detroit News. Rose Fabian, owner of de Ros Delicacies leased Thurston High student Katie Malkowski's artwork for her shop.

According to this article in the Detroit News, the South Redford School District mats, frames, lets firms lease, display student artwork. Interesting idea of connecting the local school system with businesses, students, and art.
