In the neighborhood debate about fast food restaurants vs. coffee shops (among other things) people imply that coffee shops generate as much trash in the public realm as fast-food restaurants. I definitely disagree. It's rare, but not out of the question to see a Starbucks cup or something similar, in the gutter, but not fast food trash...

Even fast-food restaurant coffee drinkers may have a different sensibility about the trash they generate, compared to "coffee shop" patrons.
