Woodward Avenue in the Oakland County suburbs north of Detroit, Michigan is the place for the annual "Dream Cruise" event, where people drive and display classic cars, and hundreds of thousands of people attend the "parade." That event is next Saturday.

Apparently, there is a counter-cruise the week before, to promote alternative mobility methods, according to the article "Bikers, skaters turn out for 'Green Cruise'" from the Detroit News.
