Neon American Flag, Shawsville, MarylandThe moon rises over an 8-foot-by-16-foot neon American flag displayed by Dave Rose on a communications tower at his farm in Shawsville, in northwestern Harford County, to celebrate Independence Day. The neon tubes for the bottom three stripes malfunctioned. (Sun photo by Kenneth K. Lam) Jul 3, 2006
