Montgomery County Farm Tour

Montgomery County Farm TourYes, there is a regional agricultural "system", even though it's hidden, shrinking, and much diminished over the past 50 years.


Montgomery County Maryland created the Agricultural Preserve "upcounty" to preserve the farmscape. The preserve is 2.5 times larger than DC... This weekend is the annual Farm Tour & Harvest Sale.

Participating Farms will be open 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 22. Some farms will also be open 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 23.
