You are cordially invited to ATHA, Inc.’s annual meeting.
Mr. Bill Pencek, Director of Heritage and Cultural Tourism, Maryland Office of Tourism and principal staff representative to Maryland’s War of 1812 bicentennial Commission, will serve as guest speaker.
Mr. Pencek will review the Commission’s plans for commemorating and observing the bicentennial celebrations for the War of 1812/Battle of Bladensburg; and will show how ATHA sites will benefit from the planned projects, activities, and investments related the bicentennial celebrations through 2014. We will also review the organization’s progress in 2007, and introduce a proposed work plan for 2008.
