Montogmery County Maryland special election

Cavan Wilk, a MoCo transit and revitalization advocate, mentions in an entry in Greater Greater Washington, "Hear from the District 4 candidates," the upcoming Montgomery County District 4 candidates' forum.

The Forum, on Tuesday March 31st, intends to "raise voters' awareness on transportation, land use, livable/walkable communities, climate change, habitat protection/restoration, and other key environmental and quality-of-life issues" and is sponsored by the Sierra Club of Montgomery County and the Action Committee for Transit.

Since DC abuts Montgomery County Council Districts 1 (Bethesda) and 5 (Silver Spring), not to mention the general issue of transit, seeing that there are progressive representatives on the adjoining County Councils (in Prince George's County too) matters greatly.
