Bombardier’s Euro-style streetcars could grace Toronto routes by 2012

Streetcars and light rail vehicles can carry more passengers, and are far more appealing to riders with the choice to not use transit, when compared to buses. (In regards to the recent thread on not planning around fixed rail services for the eventual reaching of capacity in the DC area subway system, which is predicted for 2025.)
