DRPT to Unveil Draft Recommendations for Super NoVa Transit/TDM Vision Plan

The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) is hosting the next set of public meetings in September 2012 to give you an opportunity to review the draft recommendations resulting from commuting needs, travel analysis and input to date. The Super NoVa region includes the northern part of Virginia as well as the District of Columbia and parts of Maryland and West Virginia. The plan’s recommendations are based on public and stakeholder input and extensive evaluation of future population and employment trends, land use, and travel demand.

Citizens are invited to attend a public meeting at the following locations. A presentation of the recommendations will be available on the study website, SuperNoVA Transit Vision on September 18, 2012:

All meetings will be held from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. with a presentation offered each evening at 7:00 p.m.
