Rebuilding Place in the Urban Space

"A community’s physical form, rather than its land uses, is its most intrinsic and enduring characteristic." [Katz, EPA] This blog focuses on place and placemaking and all that makes it work--historic preservation, urban design, transportation, asset-based community development, arts & cultural development, commercial district revitalization, tourism & destination development, and quality of life advocacy--along with doses of civic engagement and good governance watchdogging.

BP Solar

BP Solar
Originally uploaded by rllayman.
I will be busy the next couple days and won't be able to blog at all, so I can't write an extended blog entry about the search, political pandering, calls for investigations (although Lee Raymond's severance package seems obscene and Steven Pearlstein of the Post's column the other day on oil company profits was excellent), etc.

So a photo comment on BP's solar plans will have to suffice.
