Speaking of the need for redundancy on the WMATA subway system downtown

Yesterday, a subway train derailed underground in Chicago, putting that line out of commission for at least 1/2 day. See "Daley praises 'rapid' response to Blue Line accident," from the Chicago Tribune, which includes links to video news stories.
