Bus Promotion sign, Commuter Store

I have written before about Arlington County's "Marketing Imagaination" (there is a seminal book in the field called The Marketing Imagination and if you read this book and work in the field, you will be empowered--it's not just about selling things that people don't need).

This is a marketing banner in the Commuter Store in Crystal City.

In a side conversation yesterday at the conference, I learned that the marketing budget for Arlington County's transportation activities is larger than the budget that WMATA has to work with for marketing Metrorail and Metrobus...
