New WMATA articulated bus, badged "Metrobus" local, with a new paint scheme

WMATA had a press conference and released these photos yesterday. (WMATA photo by Larry Levine.) It's nice to see some verve in the bus painting scheme. I hope this gets extended to other buses and to the Metrobus sign as well.

See the WMATA press release, "Metro shows off new look for Metrobus."

Downtown Circulator bus sign, Union Station
While we still need to work on bus shelters and waiting areas, this is a nice step forward.
