Taking competition between universities to new heights

A group of Washington State University alumni urged state lawmakers Monday to scuttle a University of Washington request for $150 million in tax money toward a Husky Stadium renovation, according to this article, "Cougar fans nip at request for Husky Stadium funds," from the Seattle Times.

Next time, they'll figure out the advantages of banding together, and asking for $150 million in tax subsidies for their football stadium.
