Pennsylvania transit gets money, staves off cuts

1. The article in the Philadelphia Inquirer, "How will SEPTA use its funding? Politicians who helped it get a dedicated financial base and its riders want to see improved services," discusses how SEPTA now needs to focus on service improvements.

2. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette also reports, in "Governor signs bill for PAT transit funding," about the state appropriations. Presumably a more detailed article will follow. The Port Authority bus system has been going through a major downsizing as a result of funding problems.
