I thought this was ironic because it has been reported that Comcast manages its high speed Internet network in a manner that forcibly cancels certain kinds of uploads and downloads.

See "Comcast Admits Delaying Some Traffic," from the Associated Press.

In capitalism, it's all about ownership and capital. As the commentator A.J. Liebling once wrote, "Freedom of the press is guaranteed only to those who own one."

Blogging is an application. The "press" in this case can be controlled by the owner of the pipelines and the managers of the Internet protocols that govern message and file traffic.
