Car Free Day Metro DC logo by you.

World Carfree Day (see World Carfree Network and Carbusters Magazine for more) is being celebrated in the Washington region this year--last year DC had its own day a few days before the global date--with participation by major government sponsors including WMATA, the Virginia Railway Express commuter railroad, and the federal government property manager, the General Services Administration.
