Rebuilding Place in the Urban Space

"A community’s physical form, rather than its land uses, is its most intrinsic and enduring characteristic." [Katz, EPA] This blog focuses on place and placemaking and all that makes it work--historic preservation, urban design, transportation, asset-based community development, arts & cultural development, commercial district revitalization, tourism & destination development, and quality of life advocacy--along with doses of civic engagement and good governance watchdogging.

National survey on community benefits agreements

From Professor Thomas Musil, University of Saint Thomas, Minnesota

National Community Benefits Agreement Survey (CONFIDENTIAL)

We need your help. There is very little research on the contributions and role of CBAs. As municipal CBA ordinances develop and cities begin to recognize the importance of CBAs, it is critical to have comprehensive information.

At the end of the survey you can register to receive an email with the national survey results.

If you want someone else to also take the survey, you can forward this email to them and they will be able to access the survey through the survey link in this email. If you do not initially complete the survey, you can return to it and complete it later. Questions also have open ended response options so that you can add specific information and/or comments as you see fit.

Thank you for your help.

NOTE THAT THE SURVEY IS INTENDED FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN REAL ESTATE AND ZONING MATTERS WHERE SUCH AGREEMENTS HAVE BEEN/OR COULD HAVE BEEN PART OF THE PROCESS
