Rebuilding Place in the Urban Space

"A community’s physical form, rather than its land uses, is its most intrinsic and enduring characteristic." [Katz, EPA] This blog focuses on place and placemaking and all that makes it work--historic preservation, urban design, transportation, asset-based community development, arts & cultural development, commercial district revitalization, tourism & destination development, and quality of life advocacy--along with doses of civic engagement and good governance watchdogging.

Robbo and London graffiti

King Robbo I Love London graffitum, probably in the City of London/Barbican Centre areaThe only reason I know about "King Robbo" is because there was a documentary, "Banksy vs Robbo & The Graffiti War" which ran at least once on the Ovation (arts) channel.

And I learned that Banksy's rat is somewhat derivative from a graffiti artist in Paris. I came across a Robbo graffitum somewhere (don't remember now) and shot a photo of it.

It's a good documentary.
