[Katz, EPA] This blog focuses on place and placemaking and all that makes it work--historic preservation, urban design, transportation, asset-based community development, arts & cultural development, commercial district revitalization, tourism & destination development, and quality of life advocacy--along with doses of civic engagement and good governance watchdogging.

Beyond DC (rail + baseball stadium)

The Beyond DC website is one of the few websites that I manage to look at regularly. His photos are amazing, always and a real treat to view. This photo is from his new photoset on the Union Station railyard. Can we say telephoto lens?

2. Plus, he also has already put up great comments about the proposed Washington Nationals Stadium design. I truly hope that the design is not fully written "in concrete" and that the kinds of changes proposed by Dan (and others) can be incorporated.
