Brio BRT line, El Paso, Texas, has stations that are beautifully lighted at night

The line launched a couple years ago but I just recently came across the photos.  There are a couple of articles:

Each shelter is six to nine feet wide with enough space for a canopy for shelter, and wayfinding information and/or public art.

The lighting of the shelters at night is a great "innovation," in that it brands the bus line as special and proves the point that I make that stations are primary marketing touchpoints for transit.

Not just for the people who ride the bus, but also for the people who pass by the shelter.

If it's nice, it communicates that the transit system is valued.  If it's dowdy or poorly kept or full of "loiterers," it communicates that transit is not valued and is unsafe.
