Discussion about the Main Street Approach to commercial district revitalization, specifically focused on neighborhood commercial districts in Washington, DC and the inner-ring suburbs. Presentation by Richard Layman, interim program manager, Brookland Main Street, Washington, DC. Layman writes and consults about urban revitalization and has helped found two Main Street programs in Washington, DC.

This presentation is at the September meeting of the Old Takoma Business Association, which represents merchants in the commercial districts of Greater Takoma, in Takoma DC and Takoma Park, Maryland, and is the parent of Main Street Takoma.
