It mentions the Evening Standard newspaper's campaign to Save Our Small Shops and the The All-Party Parliamentary Small Shops Group task force of the UK Parliament, which reviewed the state of independent retail in the UK and published this report, HIGH STREET BRITAIN: 2015.

According to the Standard, "London has lost more than 7,000 individual or family-owned shops in the past six years."
